In an era where politics bleed into culture, identity, and art, Ronnie Bucks is not interested in offering simple answers. Instead, his latest project, THE BIGGEST 3, embraces complexity. Structured as a three-sided body of work, A, B, and C, the album mirrors the fragmented world we are living in, where ideology, expression, and personal truth are constantly shifting.
For Ronnie, THE BIGGEST 3 is not just an album. It is a framework. Each side explores a different creative lane, blending melodic records, hip-hop, and touches of R&B. Together, they reflect not only the evolving sound of modern music, but also the unstable political and social climate shaping everyday life.
“I feel I made a good choice doing a three-sided project,” Ronnie explains. “You get to hear a melodic side, hip-hop, and somewhat of an R&B feel, identifying where I’m from, where I come from, and what I stand for.”
One of the project’s most compelling qualities is its emotional range. The melodic tracks lean into vulnerability, while the rap records project confidence and authority. For Ronnie, balancing softness and strength is essential in a world that often punishes emotional honesty.
“Depending on how I’m feeling, that’s when I make the best music,” he says. “You have to be emotionally honest with yourself before you can take criticism from the world.”
At its core, THE BIGGEST 3 is a reminder not to take freedom for granted. It encourages making decisions count, treating bad days with the same intention as good ones, and making the most of the time we have.
