Clouty!, an independent artist from Gainesville FL, describes his love for his unique genre of music and much more in this latest interview.
"At the age of sixteen, I found myself being able to visually express my passions and no longer feeling as if I was an outcast towards my peers. Breaking stereotypes is always something that I'm chasing".
Remarkably, Clouty!, has been able to create his own one-of-a-kind genre known as Emoplugg. Which consists of a blend from Clouty!'s emotions and variety of personalities.
Listening to talent-acts such as Asking Alexandria, Bring Me the Horizon, XXXTentacion, and Lil Peep... Clouty! has began a new chant for the following generation.
"I used to struggle with severe depression so it was almost natural for me to fall in love with the melodic and lyrical elements of post-hardcore/metalcore music simply because I felt like they were talking to me. I had something I could relate to, unlike the music I was exposed to in my everyday life."
"Music is everything to me. It’s my life. What I truly desire from being an artist is to be able to speak to and for those who are afraid. Those who feel like they have no way out and no one understands them. I just want to let people know that there is a place for them no matter how “weird” society thinks they are. That is Emoplugg!"
