Growing up in Atlanta, music producer Traiqo found inspiration in the unlikeliest of places—watching and hearing beats on YouTube. From road trips to late-night sessions in bed, music was a constant companion. "I thought it was cool, so I started making beats," Traiqo shares. But the journey wasn’t smooth at first. Struggling to get the hang of it, he quit—until his mom encouraged him to try again. That nudge led him back to music, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Today, Traiqo describes his sound as Atlanta-based with an evolved bounce and originality. Known for his unique and intricate hi-hat patterns, he’s carved out a distinct space in the competitive music scene. His favorite project to date is *Fruity Pebbles* by Raqbaby, a track he produced specifically for live performances.
Traiqo credits his musical growth to influences like Section 8, Wegonebeok, and his inner circle of producers, including ROC. However, the creative process isn’t without its challenges. “The hardest part is knowing when my beats are used. Most artists let me know beforehand, but it’s still something I have to navigate carefully when deciding which beats to send out.”
For Traiqo, motivation comes from staying inspired by others in the industry and seeking new studio environments. “Each studio brings a new feeling, and that keeps my creativity alive,” he says.
His advice to aspiring producers? “Build a team around you instead of trying to fit into someone else’s. A strong team can elevate you in ways you can’t do alone.”
With his evolving sound and dedication to growth, Traiqo is shaping the Atlanta music scene one beat at a time.
