The Creative Process

Aspiring musician Steadee describes his experiences as an artist and what led him to pursue this path.

“I grew up in a music loving house hold, my mom always played music through out my childhood from Rap, Oldies to R&B so as I grew I discovered my love for writing lyrics myself."

" I used to write out raps I’d listen to & change things around to create my own version & eventually I began writing my own songs. When I became a teen I fully decided this is what I wanted to do with my life.”

For many composers, the creative process is limitless with many possibilities. There is no formula for the concept of perfection.

When asked what his creative process looked like, Steadee stated the following...

“My creative process is very simple, I normally take situations or events in my life & pen it down. Sometimes I get inspiration from some of my favorite movies to help bring an idea to life. For example my latest release “Meeting At Maggiano’s” with another artist Ayyee Luv was typically based on two of my favorite Mob movies Casino & Goodfellas."

Although art is subjective, one can never truly tell another creator how to create. Everything must come from within.
