Painting the Picture of Life with Omar Nutro

Written by Alexandria Anglade

Life can often be painted as a picture. However, you should never let life paint you.

What motivates you as a public figure?

Making people laugh when they are at their worst is a direct link to my own personal gain that selfishly makes me feel better

With everything that is currently going on in the world right now, humor is definitely the best medicine. Whether it's a funny video of a cat falling off a table or a toddler eating peanut butter, life has its moments.

Where are you from?

I’m from East African (Djibouti) and I came to the U.S. in 2014.

Whether you're coming from a different country to chase opportunities, America represents the land of the free... and that's something that should never be taken for granted.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

"My biggest inspiration is my grandfather who is also the president of my country (Djibouti) I look up to him because just like me he is self made from a broken country and did what he envisioned for himself no matter what what tools he had."
