Raised in Brazil at a young age, Lil Fanta is here with us today to a share a glimpse of his world.
How has your upbringing impacted you?
"My upbringing has molded me into who I am today, I aim for success and do my best because of my upbringing and where I come from, there’s some people in this world that were born with a silver spoon and some with a plastic spork."
"I don’t want my future kids to grow up with the same struggles and adversities I had to go through so I’m working hard now to create the future I want for myself and everyone around me."
In terms of you being a community leader, what are you currently working on?
"I would like to be a community leader in the sense of, I wanna help people, the unheard voices and the youth and everybody that thinks they can’t do it or aren’t enough that come from a similar or completely different background then me, I want to show everybody that anything can be done with hard work and determination."
What motivates you to be a better person?
"What motivates me to be a better person? Hate. Everybody is so focused on what the next person got going on and it’s so common nowadays to be toxic and negative, I wanna be the best person I can to influence other people to do the same. And karma is very real, I give the universe what I want to receive back you know?"
What was it like working on your latest single, Molly?
"Working on molly was fire, my homeboy produced it and my other friend mixed and mastered it and it was jus all out positive vibes in the studio that day."
"I wanted to make a hype song that’s different and I could turn up to that doesn’t just talk about violence and negative ****, I tried to be a little funny with the lyrics to match my personality. But yeah it was fire working on molly it’s my favorite song I have out right now and I feel like it’s some different **** especially coming out of the south Florida scene."
