Music has always been in Kiiing Dree’s heart, long before he ever stepped into a studio. As a kid, he was drawn to melodies through church choirs and singing shows, finding inspiration in the sounds that surrounded him. By the age of 15, he began recording at a small school studio on Wednesdays, starting under the name “Lil Andre.” But as his passion and ambition grew, so did his vision. Rebranding himself as Kiiing Dree, he knew it was time to chase music on a larger scale and push his talent as far as it could take him.
Kiiing Dree’s creative process is relentless. Even when he’s not actively recording, he’s constantly listening to beats, building flows and melodies in his head, and jumping into his home setup to lay down ideas before fine-tuning them in the studio. His work ethic reflects his belief that music is more than just a craft, it’s a lifestyle.
Describing his sound isn’t easy, because Kiiing Dree refuses to be boxed into a single category. His versatility shines through in every track, pulling from different styles and flows. He draws inspiration from the grind itself, as well as from icons like Wayne, Ye, Future, Flo Milli, Gunna, Carti, and Rihanna, artists who broke boundaries and influenced generations.
At the core of his music is a powerful message: freedom and authenticity. Kiiing Dree wants listeners to feel like themselves, to know that their emotions and experiences matter, and to understand that they are heard. His music serves as a reminder that everyone has a song, a purpose, and a reason to express themselves.
