Into the Mind of ProdByAmazingStar

Written by Alexandria Anglade

On this good Sunday, we have have the wonderful opportunity to have a quick chat with the one and only ProdByAmazingStar! An upcoming producer from South Louisiana.

How does your hometown affect your sound?

My hometown being located in South Louisiana allows me to have that versatility and that “Louisiana” bounce and sound that’s hard to replicate .

Being from Thibodaux, Louisiana allows me to put some of the trials and tribulations I’ve been through into my production, along with being close to New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

How long have you been producing?

I’ve been producing since I was 13 or 14, I’m 22 now, and I can say it’s been a long journey. Seeing my progress over the years humbles me, and it makes me feel like anything is possible if I keep putting time, energy, and effort into it.

What do you do outside of producing?

I like to do a multitude of things outside of producing like: drawing, cooking, playing with my siblings, and more when I have free time.

I’m also into sports analytics, it’s why I went to LSU for two semesters after high school. People assume that I “just make beats” all day, when really half the time, I don’t even touch my computer.
