Gracia: Psychedelic Trap with Heart and Vision

Gracia’s journey into music began with family roots and a spark of inspiration. Growing up, he and his brother often accompanied their father, a Spanish-language musician, to performances. Those early memories planted the seed of musical passion. In 2020, alongside his friend Jason, also known as Archive, Gracia began making beats in a bedroom studio. Though initially nervous, Jason encouraged him to sing, giving him the confidence to step into his artistry. By 2022, he released his debut single Falling, and today he is already three albums in, currently crafting his fourth project, ANACHRONISM.

When creating music, Gracia draws directly from his life. He transforms his experiences and emotions into songs that feel both raw and authentic. Every lyric reflects what he is going through at the moment, making each track deeply personal.

His sound blends psychedelic trap with layered influences from artists like Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Don Toliver. He resonates with Kid Cudi’s honesty, admires Travis Scott’s unique sonic style, and is inspired by Don Toliver’s approach to harmonies and vocal stacking. The result is a sound that feels immersive and emotionally charged.

At the heart of his music is a message of connection and resilience. Gracia wants listeners to know they are not alone in their struggles. He describes his work as a journey through “The Dark Side,” where feelings of loneliness and vulnerability live, toward “The Light,” a vision of hope and new beginnings.

While he has not faced overwhelming challenges as an artist, he acknowledges the hurdles of fine-tuning mixes and experimenting with collaborations. Keeping an open mind and ear has allowed him to grow and adapt with each project.

One of his most rewarding experiences came when sharing his album OnTheDarkSide with a friend going through a difficult time. Hearing that his music spoke directly to his friend’s soul reaffirmed his purpose. Live performances have also been powerful moments, especially watching audiences light up the venue with flashlights during his set.

Looking forward, Gracia aims to collaborate with his favorite artists and bring his vision to even greater heights. Beyond music, he seeks peace within himself, hoping to achieve inner balance while continuing to inspire others through his art.
