As an individual that has sickle cell disease (SCD), what difficulties do you face daily?

For this that are unaware, Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a group of inherited red blood cell disorders. In SCD, the red blood cells become hard and sticky and look like a C-shaped farm tool called a “sickle.” People with SCD can live full lives and enjoy most of the activities that other people do ( Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ).

Besides defying his odds daily the tai-state area artist is focused on his craft and ultimately ready to take his career to the next level.

How did your upbringing affect you as an artist?

"My home life was definitely sheltered until my younger teen years. My sibling and I are first generation Americans".

"Our parents came here from Jamaica way before our time and where hard-working immigrants so we had a watchful eye on that always has our best interest at heart but your environment and for me my chronic illness develops different type of person I'd like to say".
