Blacktricity’s journey into music began when he moved to Arizona about ten years ago. There, he met the people who would change his life and guide him into the world of music. Together, they formed Witchouse, a collective that laid the foundation for his career and creative vision.
When it comes to making music, Blacktricity keeps it simple. If the beat speaks to him, he lets it lead the way. He often writes while sitting on his patio, smoking and allowing the vibe to shape his creativity. His process usually begins with a chorus, which he uses as the building block for the rest of the song.
He describes his sound in one word: electric. Every track he creates carries a vibrant energy that listeners cannot ignore. His influences are diverse, but at the core, his music is about capturing and transmitting raw energy that leaves an impression.
Blacktricity’s versatility is one of his strongest traits. His recent project KAMINARI reflects his ability to shift between playful tracks and deeply personal moments. As the project unfolds, his lyrics become a form of therapy, offering an honest glimpse into his emotions and experiences.
Like many artists, Blacktricity has faced challenges. His biggest obstacle has been himself. Doubt and negativity can easily cloud the path forward, but he has been steadily overcoming these mental battles. With growth and persistence, he is determined to bring more of his authentic self to the world.
One of the highlights of his career so far has been winning first place at the Tribe Ave Media mixer. What made the moment even more rewarding was that the crowd voted for their favorite artist, showing that his energy and music truly connected with people.
Looking ahead, Blacktricity is focused on betting on himself. He believes that putting everything on the line is the only way forward. Musically, his goal is to create a loyal and supportive fanbase that not only follows his journey but feels like part of it. For Blacktricity, the future holds more growth, more energy, and more moments that remind people why his sound is electrifying.
